TWE was founded in 2003 by Graham McLean following his own transformative experiences walking Tasmania’s wilderness areas. Built on a passion for creating more personal and accessible adventures, the business has grown into a trusted name for bushwalker transport, remote area access, and guided walking experiences. The current owner Rohan Sheehan, has continued to build on its strong reputation while expanding the business’s offerings for wilderness travellers.

Today, Tasmanian Wilderness Experiences focuses on transporting walkers in and out of the Southwest National Park, Overland Track, and other remote regions of Tasmania, while also offering a growing range of guided day walks from Hobart.
